The XL650V is the generation that established the Transalp as a serious long-distance tourer — reliable, capable on mixed terrain, and widely used for continental and intercontinental trips. The exposed engine and sump come with no meaningful factory underside protection, and the center stand is an expensive dealer option rather than standard equipment.

Our crash bars protect the engine and lower bodywork in a fall. The skid plate shields the sump and underside from rocks and rough terrain. The center stand makes chain maintenance and rear tyre changes practical in the field.
