When Honda relaunched the Africa Twin in 2016 after a 13-year absence, crash protection and luggage were among the very first accessories Honda themselves offered for the model — a clear indication of what owners actually needed from day one. The parallel-twin engine and lower fairing are directly in the line of impact in any off-road drop or low-speed tip-over.
