Steel crash bars engine guard for Hyosung GT650i EFI 2009–2012 designed to protect the engine, radiator area, frame, and side plastics during drops, parking incidents, and everyday street riding. Developed specifically for the fuel-injected Hyosung GT650i platform with all original frame geometry and body mounting points taken into consideration for precise bolt-on fitment without modifications.
The Hyosung GT650i EFI is an evolution of the carbureted GT650 platform, offering improved fuel injection performance and smoother throttle response. However, like the earlier version, the motorcycle still features exposed engine and radiator areas, making it vulnerable to damage in low-speed drops and urban riding incidents. As the model ages, OEM plastic parts and original components become harder to source, increasing the importance of external protection.
The crash bar construction is engineered to absorb side impacts and help reduce damage to critical motorcycle components while maintaining the balanced handling and everyday usability of the GT650i. The design integrates cleanly with the motorcycle’s original styling and does not affect ground clearance, lean angle, or rider comfort.
Important note: Fitment confirmed for 2009–2012 EFI versions. Compatibility with later production years (2013–2018) has not been verified and may require comparison with listing photos before purchase.
