Fully welded steel rear rack for Hyosung GT650 Comet / GT650S / GT650R 2004–2008 designed to provide a stable and reliable platform for carrying luggage, tail bags, and travel gear during everyday riding, commuting, and light touring use. Developed specifically for the carburetor Hyosung GT650 platform with consideration of the motorcycle’s frame geometry and rear bodywork for precise bolt-on fitment without modifications.
The Hyosung GT650 carburetor generation (2004–2008) is a widely used V-twin platform known for its balanced performance and everyday usability. However, the rear section of the motorcycle was not designed for proper luggage loads, and the OEM passenger area provides limited rigidity for secure cargo mounting during longer trips or regular use.
This rear rack solves one of the most common real-world issues for GT650 owners — unstable luggage support on a flexible rear subframe area. It provides a rigid steel mounting platform for tail bags and travel gear, improving stability and usability while maintaining original motorcycle geometry and rider comfort.
Note: Carburetor version only. Not compatible with EFI models.
