Steel crash bars for Suzuki DL1000 V-Strom (2002–2012) — an engine guard designed to protect the radiator, fuel tank area, and side bodywork on the original flagship V-Strom. The first-generation DL1000 is a heavy, capable touring bike that owners ride hard and far — and like every generation of V-Strom, it has no factory crash bars. When a 220+ kg motorcycle goes down without protection, the radiator, tank area, and bodywork take the full impact. These crash bars are designed to absorb that first, keeping the repair bills where they belong after a fall.
Developed specifically for the frame geometry and plastic mounting features of the 2002–2012 DL1000, the crash bars wrap around the front sides of the motorcycle, shielding the most vulnerable components from impact during drops, trail riding, and parking incidents. The construction mounts to the original attachment points for a precise and stable fit without any modifications to the motorcycle.
