Steel crash bars for Suzuki DL650 V-Strom (2004–2011) — an engine guard designed to protect the radiator, fuel tank area, and side bodywork on the original Wee-Strom. The first-generation DL650 has been everywhere — from daily commutes to transcontinental expeditions — and it does all of it without complaint. But it does it without factory crash bars, leaving the radiator, tank area, and side plastics completely exposed to the kind of low-speed falls and gravel-road incidents that are simply part of adventure riding. These crash bars close that gap.
Developed specifically for the frame geometry and plastic mounting features of the 2004–2011 DL650, the crash bars wrap around the front sides of the motorcycle, shielding the most vulnerable components from impact. The construction mounts to the original attachment points for a precise and stable fit without any modifications to the motorcycle.
A necessary upgrade for the original V-Strom 650 — whether you are still clocking serious kilometres on yours or restoring one to its former capability — the crash bars protect the components that have kept these bikes running for decades, and that would be costly and inconvenient to replace after an unprotected fall.
