Steel crash bars for Suzuki DL650 V-Strom and V-Strom XT (2012–2016) — an engine guard designed to protect the radiator, fuel tank area, and side bodywork during drops, off-road incidents, and low-speed falls. The second-generation V-Strom 650 is the bike that cemented the Wee-Strom's reputation for reliability and all-round capability — but like every generation, it ships without crash bars and relies on a lower cowl that provides minimal real-world protection. Engine protector bars are among the first upgrades every experienced V-Strom owner adds.
Developed specifically for the frame geometry and plastic mounting features of the 2012–2016 DL650, the crash bars wrap around the front sides of the motorcycle, shielding the radiator, tank area, and side plastics from the impacts that happen on trails, gravel, and the inevitable tip-over. The construction mounts to the original attachment points for a precise and stable fit without any modifications.
