Fully welded steel rear rack for Yamaha FZ400 Fazer (1997) — a top case mount designed to expand the practical carrying capacity of one of the most characterful Japanese domestic market bikes of its era. Built on the same platform as the FZS600 Fazer and featuring premium Brembo front brakes, the FZ400 was engineered for versatile everyday riding — and a solid rear rack is a natural addition for commuting and longer trips.
Developed specifically for the frame geometry of the FZ400 Fazer, the rear rack mounts to the original attachment points for a precise fit. The fully welded construction provides maximum rigidity and eliminates flex and rattles — essential for a bike used daily on commutes and weekend rides alike.
Compatible with most standard top case adapters, the rack integrates cleanly with the half-cowl lines of the Fazer while significantly expanding its practical carrying capacity for commuting, travel, and everyday use.
Note: Installation requires drilling two holes in the side plastic panel to secure the rack to the mounting plate. The drilling points are clearly shown in the listing photos. No other modifications to the motorcycle are required.
