In recent years, we have become accustomed seeing luggage racks almost every machine, without trunks, wind, mud shields, protective arches vehicles seem somehow naked. Basic tourist equipment motorcycle is luggage carriers, after all go through backpack behind shoulders it is not convenient & unsafe. You can install luggage behind saddle passenger, sides back wheel, gas tank, in some cases on front motorcycle wing, protective arches presence - in pencil form cases on arcs. This placement purpose is more even distribution freight throughout machine.
Most cargo is carried back trunk, installing it, special attention should paid strength & rigid connection machine frame. But it does not mean that trunk must made of thick-walled tubes or steel rods. Strength & load-carrying capacity structure should combined with its ease and thoughtful arrangement attachment points, without getting carried away via the trunk’s width & large carrying it over rear axle. Reduce gravity center, load area should be positioned as low as possible.
As rule, cargo area must be additionally connected spacers to rear wing or seat frame. Design elements of motorcycle rear rack should not stir back suspension bracket work, also to interfere by dismantle wheel and chain adjustment.
Best of all, if back carrier provides location of cargo both behind passenger seat and on rear wheel’s sides. Structurally, this is solved different ways.
Choosing design preference should given trunk through easily removable bags. Firstly, hinged bags provide easy access rear wheel, do not interfere with chain adjustment, are convenient in parking areas, since they can be quickly removed & taken you. Secondly, after trip, they can be replaced with smaller bags for everyday use. Machine, such bags are always useful. After all, it's much more convenient put small things into luggage rack than worry, how fix them on trunk, or carry backpack.
